This rictameter, Sun and Moon, has the proper formatting and gives the readers a positive and charming look at your twins. So many twin stories to know and for which to prepare. Neat.

Thanks for your feedback, Bill :)
The girls do look like twins, although there's 3 years between them!
    Best wishes, Debra

And don't they look like you! A charming, flowing verse, lovingly expressed with those three middle lines, a lovely centrepiece of well crafted imagery. I enjoyed the shape of this verse and the way in which each line is a little gem in itself. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes, Debbie

Hi Debbie :) Thank you for your lovely feedback. Yes, there's no denying that I'm their mum! My son looks even more so like me than the girls, although he is tall and built like his dad.
Best wishes as always, Debra :)

What a nice poem about your daughters. You make a good analogy and use very descriptive and caring words. Your love for each of your daughters shines through every word. Good writing! And God bless them!

Aw, so beautiful and although they are similar, so different. They didn't fall far from you, Debra. I see your likeness in both of your daughters. I didn't have any girls, but my granddaughter, Sophia, is my mirror image.

I enjoyed this in the rictameter form. I have actually done a few of these.

Sending you my best today as always.

A fine tribute to your wonderful daughters here Debra. And just like mine, they are very different in personality and compliment each other, fine words.

Just a small suggestion for this line:

(yet, both shine (so) beautifully to me).

Love Dolly x

    Hello Dolly :)
Thank you for your kind feedback and the suggestion. I took the suggestion - I already used 'as' twice in the line above, so 'so' was the perfect alternative :) thanks again!

They are lovely and yes, they look like their personalities are as different as the sun and moon! So beautiful and so different. You are indeed blessed! My daughters are that different, too!

Oppositions in our children can be as interesting and satisfying as their similarities. I have two strong girls and two gentle boys. It's like watching a mixed doubles tennis game. kay

As well as the girls, we also have a son who is as different again! You're right, their differences are interesting and satisfying to see.

-Nice photo and presentation, Debra.
-A well written poem with good
examples of your daughters' characteristics.
-I like the sun and moon comparison.
-You have very good concluding lines
about how they balance each other and
add great joy to your family.
-How far apart in age are they?

This is a lovely poem about daughters. Your daughters are beautiful young ladies, and I know you are very proud of them. I myself have three beautiful daughters. They are all as different as the Camby 21 is like the sun. Another is like the moon and another is like the Earth itself. Have a blessed day and God bless you. Patricia.
