I'm glad they got through the awkwardness of the next morning and Seth and Emma are back on track. I like Seth wanting to comfort Emma by putting his hand on her back but hesitating so that it would not be too familiar. It takes time to build that trust and comfort with each other. It takes a moment to step back and realize they have only known each other a couple of weeks now.
The dialog and actions are so realistic. I look forward to more.

Hi Barbara!
This is a well written chapter in your book. It is flawless and interesting.
In it, we can feel the emotions of all characters involved. The hesitant way Emma reaches out to Seth is evident, as well as his compassionate response to her.
You are a brilliant writer and should never doubt yourself. Reviewers can often be over critical, I know how that goes, but the ones who mean well are evident and consistent.
Keep on writing. I love it!

Barbara,
You've penned another brilliant chapter in the book Guided by Faith. These will be an exceptional addition to your published works. Your mastery of dialogue is inviting and draws the reader into the lives of the characters you have created in this well written novel. Your skill and talent is well presented in your ability to paint with words a portrait full of exquisite imagery and majesty in your word choices. I'm very impressed with your skill and your creativity in each of your writes.
All the best,
Eugene

I'm sure we all have wished many times we had had someone we could call in the middle of the night. But sadly, few of us have anyone to turn to or talk to when we need them most. Thanks for sharing.

That is true. We often do need that person. Thank you for the kind review.

She is still tramatized my the attempted robbery. I don't blame her. She seems even more embarassed because she called Seth in the middle of the night. It sounds like they have that behind them and are acting normal again. I look forward to more.

Another great chapter! I really liked and laughed at this line:
"It'd make me feel important."
You are nailing the ackward tension between the two perfectly. Good job!

I'm glad that Seth knew how to gently break the awkwardness in Emma's avoiding him. Sounds like they understand each other better with each chapter.
It's good Seth asks for advice.
One place I wasn't sure who was talking was here:
"It'd make me feel important."

Barbara, This is another great chapter you have penned. I like how Seth and Emma are gradually getting to know each other a little bit at a time. The dogs play a big part in this too. I can't wait for the next chapter! love and blessings, Teri

I was surprised by Emma's reaction to Seth the following day. I know she's shy and innocent, but she called for his help, and he gave it in the most gentlemanly way. Between both of their hang-ups, it will be amazing if they actually get a romance off the ground. Lol.
I liked the way you had Keith ask Emma to give Seth the statement, at least they got over that barrier. Your writing is very descriptive and allows us to creep in and be a part of what's going on. I like that. Well done, Barbara. Another excellent chapter. :)) Sandra xx
