It's mighty nice of you to take time out to thank all of the people you've met and rubbed elbows with on Fanstory. I've read some of your writing, all of which I've thoroughly enjoyed, but had no idea you had posted so much. I guess that's what happens when I don't find time to read newer people, while staying busy with those I've read forever. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the contest!

I'm bopping around tonight (okay, if you're a stickler, it's early morning) --trying to offer return reviews.
Just to add some fun, I've been going to portfolios and just stopping when a title caught my eye.

Oh my goodness, but I am an idiot. The danger of posting a piece like this is forgetting someone who is near and dear to you and I did. I am so sorry. You have been so warm, caring, and supportive of my works from the start.
I had a whole paragraph planned out about you and I must have lost it in the juggle.
Then you not only sixed it, but gave me the recognized status with the 15th review.
I feel like a heel. Now I know it is cheesy but I went back and added that paragraph because it is very important to me that you are in there. That way, fifteen years from now, I can go back and see who my mentors were. Again, I appreciate you so much. Forgive my oversight.

Seriously, you have a very impressive career and author achievements. You also have a beautiful imaginative mind.
I know what you mean about fanstory. I made some exceptional friendships and aquintances. I belive the fanstory goal is to learn through peer-reviews. And I have learn so much. For example... I suck at writing rhymed and metered poetry. All that structure scares my muse to death and she hides until I promise I will never try another sonnet in my life. I am grateful I found Japanese poetry in fanstory because there's no rhyming required! At the beginning it was that but in time I fell in love with it.

I was really moved by how deeply you have dived into the FanStory experience and how many relationships you have built. I'm afraid I didn't have the energy for such incredible enthusiasm. I also found that "wins" didn't match up with my own favorites. I am sure you will have a great career ahead of you. It is no easy task to be published, or to win contests open to the world at large. You know how much I enjoyed "Implantation"! Believe it or not, you also taught me a lot. When I wasn't sure about something, I'd look it up before making a suggestion. Having said all that, see note below.
