That's why nobody wants to be around a cemetery on Halloween. You'd be partying with the wrong crowd. What a wonderfully written poem. I love the rhyme and you got The Monster Mash in, too.

Yhis is a very fantastic entertaining Halloween poem. I grew up near a cemetery and it was the custom, during my teenage years, to see who was brave enough to go there during the Halloween season.... Especially on Halloween night. I wasn't the bravest and would never go it alone... Great job and good luck in the contest.,

I'm not a fan of Halloween in general but you made this lots of fun even including the "Monster Mash." What I liked most about it is how you showed us conflict resolution that even a child can understand in the entertaining context of ghouls and goblins and zombies.

Thank you Helen. I not a fan either and for the most part, it slips my me unnoticed. I've not lived in a place where we got trick or treaters since we lived in New Orleans. I'm pleased you found something to like about my poem.
