Yes! How did I miss this one? I guess I don't get all of your messages either. This is indeed a winner. You said all the right things here Beth. We do take a lot for granted and expect more than we should when we pray. I try just to lay it out and wait for him to solve the problem now in my old age. We must be carful what we ask for. Thank you Nancy. I appreciate the review. It's been five years since I won first on any FanStory committee contest, so I was surprised. It found it helps to write a prayer out becuase you can organize ;your thoughts better. Othersize, I just any what I'm feeling at the moment and leave it to God to figure out what I really need.

Beth, I liked your letter, and it is well written, and it's understandable why you won the contest. Your letter got me thinking in a direction you may not have intended. After finishing the piece. I wondered if it's okay to question God.

My answer is "Yes, it is okay." It is how we learn. Seek and you will find. I'm wondering about a contest. What would you Question God About?

Thank you Terry. When I review other people work, what they have written always makes own mind react in ways they may not have intended. They inspire me. If my prayer did that for you, I am honored. The Bible says "ask and you shall receive" so I guess that means if you ask questions, you'll receive answers. When I writing for contest, I just ask God for inspiration with the writing. I sometimes think of things, I have no idea where they come from. Before I wrote the prayer, I questioned if my words to God should be shared in a contest. I assume the answer was yes, since I felt it okay to write it and writing it helped get my thoughts more organized.
