This chapter really draws you in with its honesty. I think you've done a great job of capturing that feeling of youth. The details of the night out are excellent. The shift to reflection at the end is beautifully done. You seem to be walking a fine line between memory and emotion here, and it's powerful - keep it up!

'These sort of memories would never really be forgotten only pushed down and dealt with, as you are doing through your writing. As teenagers we often put ourselves in positions hard to escape from, and I hope any young people reading this will take note. Well done Lea.
cheers,
valda

Hello Lea,
as the saying goes, hindsight is always better than foresight. You were like bait to a bunch of hungry sharks unfortunately. It makes me almost ill to think of someone so vulnerable being exposed to the lusts and desires of evil people. I hope that you continue to heal as you share your painful story. Have a blessed evening gal.

You have jumped from the frying pan into the fire, literally. Your friend was one of the bad girls that led you into something you were not ready for. All you wanted was shelter, food, and a peaceful existence. But the world is full, full, full, of predators. They now have an innocent young girl to use for their enjoyment. You didn't know. All you wanted was to survive. NONE of this was your fault. You're not to blame.
You too E assuming your together. (You too E, assuming 'you're' together
We around the corner and joined the line up for the club. (We 'went' around the corner)

Enjoy the frosty brightness. It will cleanse your mind and your body. I don't like the cliffhanger; it's too scary. Poor you. Heart goes out to you as usual. Take care. x

It sounds like what seemed like three or four new experiences are going to lead to an awful one. There are some punctuation issues here and there, but it sounds like you are still working on this part as more of a first draft.

Thank you yes, I appreciate your understanding.
Punctuation is not my strong suit. It is true so i'm going to have an editor go through it. Thank you so much for your kind review as always. You being here is very helpful and appreciated and like gold to me. Thank you so much!

Oy. This is such a different kind of dark than what I'd associated with your childhood. You're so excruciatingly vulnerable, and they're such exploiters of that. I'm so sorry, Lea. I hope you've come to a point in your life where you realize that none of this was your fault. People who make it their life's work recognizing and cashing in on desperation saw you and did their horrible best to ruin you. Ugh. Sending you such love tonight. xoxoxo

Thank you my friend I confess. I have been crying the last couple days. It's one of the harder memories to bring up but it is necessary. It must be so, so that people can see the full picture of abuse the damage it causes. What is does to the mind.
And the repercussions that play out after. Thank you so much for your kindness for your love for your support. All that you have done for me. Just brings tears to my eyes to think of it all. Thank you again!

You matter to SO many of us here. I cannot even begin to fathom how painful this is. You are amazing, though. Absolutely remarkable. xoxo

Forgive me for the sometimes gibberish that comes out of my talk to text. I think I need to avoid it entirely. I appreciate you and all your kind words. That holds me up and gives me strength. You have been my strength since this whole thing began. I know because you have been seeking it. I know you have not but because I want to because you deserve it. I'm because you have made a place in my heart always. Thank you again, my friend, my sister and my heart.

I think I know where this is headed, and your friend should be ashamed for leading you into this. Whatever happened was not your fault, and you should feel no shame or guilt over it. Sometimes in life, one must do things to survive.

Thank you so much. I appreciate your understanding and your suppart. Some things are real hard for me to write about but definitely necessary as a byproduct of abuse. So people can see the whole picture. I have cried much about these last couple of chapters but they are healing tears. I thank you for your review and your kind reading. I hope you're having a great day!

The world is opening up to you now, but the picture you're getting of it is not a good one. Such a shame you ended up at that particular friend's house. If it had just been a good kid, things might have gone a whole lot different for you, Lea, but this crowd you're getting in with is nothing but trouble.
It sounds like this part is particularly difficult for you to write about because you feel shame about it, but you need to give yourself a break here. It's totally understanding and predictable what's happening here. - Jim

Yeah but thank you for your kindness you truly are a bright soul! Your understanding is appreciated too I had beat myself up too much of this but it wasn't the The rape by itself it was what I did after And how I lived my life just a few months. Necessity or not, it was not an exemplary existence. Nor was it one to be proud of. But you're right it's time to stop beating the snot out of myself. You're understanding it's gold. I must say thank you and I appreciate you. I hope you're having a great day!
