This chapter feels like there was a manipulative level of deception going on. What that friend was having you do was much more than 'a new way of doing things' or teaching someone to be 'independent.' But since that is the main motivation that the friend stated aloud, I thought I would add a few suggestions on punctuation, here re-written:
"I told you. I'm teaching you a new way of doing things, a way to keep a roof over your head. Be independent!" she answered. "I mean, you can't stay here forever. Mom will find out eventually. So let's get this done, so I don't have to worry about you."
It sounds like all the men around you in this chapter were users and abusers.

It is very difficult to learn about life when you have to experience everything and teach yourself. That is why some people never learn, and keep doing the same things over and over, but expecting different outcomes their entire life.
I don't know what change you made to get you to where you are today, but I'm glad you made it. By the way, your poetry is always heartfelt, and your artwork beautiful.

I think it's admirable that you wanted to shield your children from the horrors of your upbringing, but now that your mother is attempting to brainwash them with lies about you, perhaps it's time to let them know what a complete shit your mother was, that she is a compulsive liar, and that she is misleading them. If you shared this story with them, maybe you could stay where you are and be able to see your grandchildren. It's such a shame that she continues to try to destroy your life, but she's feeling desperate now as the truth is coming out.
Today's chapter was very sad as you are getting sucked into a terrible lifestyle for such a creative and talented person like you, Lea. It's a terrible lifestyle for any woman, in my opinion, but especially bad for someone who has so much potential and talent to be successful in virtually any job you put your mind to. As a hooker, you are subordinating your life to the wants of your johns and giving up your own freedom. It's not far different from what you were facing at home as you grew up.
It will be interesting to see how far down this road you ended up going. It sounds like you quickly realized how the only real advantage to this lifestyle was that it was better than what you came from, but that was a pretty low standard to surpass. - Jim

All of could have likely been persuaded in those circumstances to have gone with the only choice that seemed open. Your mother has built her own story to perserve her own self image and apparently she tells it convincingly. I hope your son will see through her version. It depends on what he wants to believe. Sometimes it takes a while for truth to surface.

My son well. I think he's acting out of precaution cause he has 3 daughters. He just want to stay back until it clears up. I understand that he also doesn't know or my other son. They don't know about how terrible it was. I don't want them to think of their ground parents as shit like I do. Beth and always happy to see you here!! You have been an amazing support. Don't worry, my friend, the bulldozers always been there. I don't know me. I have to go through the grief process a little bit and then my logical mind kickson and I get pissed off and things start to roll. I know after contemplating it for a while. My mother is very, very afraid. I guess she's gonna do whatever she can to discredit me. She phoned her today too trying to get my Uncle to have me removed from this place thing. I'm daof course he doesn't believe it he's one of the smarter ones. Terrible this woman sometimes I just want to retaliate. I'm doing it the better way though. I retaliate with words. People got me down but I always get app and fight back every time and this will be no different realization that she's just freaked out and I want to do whatever she can to not make this happen. Can I only make me chucause I know it's really going on and so do you my friend. As always, thank you for your support for your review. Everything that you do it's a precious gift to me thank you again!

One day I will write the story of mine, but I have buried it all in the past and I never want to revisit those days again. My parents are long gone now and I shall let sleeping dogs lie. Perhaps your son should have some trust in you and the relationship you share Lea? Your story continues with your education of how some men treat women and of course this kind of behaviour still exists. Men want women for sex and they don't care how they get it and women suffer or they become hardened to the reality of it.

You are incredibly right again Dolly! I believe my son is Acting out of a Justin case kind of scenarsort of like a precaution. I guess just in case my grandmother was right. Whom he loves very much. And I get rid of that talk about his fine parents at all. I shall leave him to it for now and discuss it. They are he knows how to find me. Alright I will check on him regardless. All the truth will come out soon and we're certain. Family members are getting scared. And that's why my mother is saying just to have and tell him to destroy my reputation and try to assassinate my character. After initial hurt, my logical mind always Kix.
