I missed this beauty being sick during the first half of January. Beautifully written poem in an economy of words, my friend. Congratulations on your well deserved blue ribbon. Sending you my best today as always.

Hi Melissa,
Nice majestic photo to go with the poems meaning. It reminds us that Jesus often went to mountains to pray. Silence brings you closer to God.
In seclusion you can feel prayers being listened to.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Congrats on winning the contest.
Have a great weekend.

Simply beautiful. Beautifully simple.
This poem speaks truly to my heart. Perfectly executed. I really don't need 150 characters to express how lovely it is! Really well done!
Best wishes

Instead an unknown "he", I think it would be better to use "I". Just my thoughts. Picture is divine, and your poetry is lovely. And your choice of a mat with the briefest of colors brings out your poetry. :-) Karen

To do some Soul searching one must be in a quiet place
And better still be merged in mother nature's embrace, like in that stunning canyon ( in Arizona ) seen above.
My silent haven are my scented pine forests and earthy woods , where I can hear and talk to my inner voice.
A beautiful offering

Hello dear Franca. Thank you for your wonderful review. I loved visiting the canyon and seeing that vastness and greatness of canyon and sky. It is a lifetime memory. I am glad you have a place you can go and tune it with nature. I so appreciate you!

I like how you stated he discovered deep truths on the edge of silence. I think many of us will find that our deep truths will come when we're very silent and have a chance to listen to what our heart is telling us. Patricia.
