This chapter sounds like you have been exposed to people you feel you can trust. When C said he was leaving, but called you "My woman" I know your heart melted and You felt you had finally found love. Regardless to what happens, you will begin a new life with things you love, and new challenges. That's what life is all about...routines, beauty, conflict, and resolution. I'm hoping for the best during your journey.

Hello Lea,
While I'm happy that you're finally getting a sense of what life can be like, I wish that you had perhaps spent a little more time with P and his family, although that had to come to and end eventually as well. When you're young, you view love through rose colored glasses, seeing what you want to see, discarding the unpleasant, and believing in fairy tales and happily ever after. Of course you can't go through life cynical, there are lots of good things that happen to us every day, but it's always wise to listen to that still, small voice in the back of your mind that suggests we proceed with caution. I guess we'll see what happened. I suspect it will be a reality check.
On a different note, I won't ask if you're near a town, but I'm curious if where you're moving to has access to the internet, and God forbid, should you experience an emergency, a way to contact someone who lives close enough to help you. Life happens, even in the best of circumstances, and as much as possible we need to be prepared for it. Will there be any pictures of your new home? It sounds delightful.
Have a blessed evening gal.
Tom

Hi Tom yes I'm going to update all of you on the situation the home it's state where it's at and I will have internet for sure I'll have to operate through a smart hub though which is okay. I'll have cell service all those good things required more I will tell you in the chapters thank you my friend for writing and reading and offering your thoughts. I cannot regret leaving the home of Mrs B because my further actions gave me my oldest son who's a man to be proud of today. I made many mistakes in those days and I continue to make them not because I want to but because there's so much to learn that I didn't get to however at this stage in my life I surely would have made different choices however I remain close to this family to this day even though Mr and Mrs B have passed on, I am close two or two sons. Thank you Tom it's always I appreciate your insight your kind comments and your unique way of looking at things all very much appreciated by me I hope your day is amazing!

We never know how anything is going to turn out, but we just have to keep sticking our heads in the ovens to see if it burns. And hopefully, at some point it's full of cherries and whipped cream. Thanks for sharing.

Cherries and whipped cream works for me! You're exactly right we don't know how things will turn out we can only hope for the best and prep for the worst! Thank you again Ric, I appreciate you I like your perspective so much cuz your world was similar to mine. Thank you again my friend for your review thank you for your kindness and for your insight and your unique perspective hope your day is great!

I think this chapter has a more hopeful, eager tone throughout. It seems like things were working out to go on to a new phase of life. But there are hints that it still didn't work out as expected, either. I noticed another reviewer gave some helpful punctuation hints. The font looks smaller starting with this sentence:
P came down and we all ate companionably. When we were done I told Mrs. B what happened the previous day and that I wished to go with C.
I would put a comma after the word 'down' in the first sentence of those two. I suggest putting a comma after When we were done in the second sentence.

As I read this I feel as if I am watching a movie on TV. In fact I think it is suitable to be a movie. Scenes visually go in my mind as I read.

Dang it's icy outside. It was hell getting home last night

Thank you for sharing this with us. I am betting things didn't go as hoped for.

Now, if what he told me is true, than how can I blame him. (true, then how...)

"Oh...I see." I said, looking down at my hands. (I see," I said looking at my hands.)

C smiled and took my hands in his, "I want you (his.)

I smiled and he began telling me what to expect and when we will leave. (comma after 'smiled,' you switched subjects)

which will have to be quick." He explained. (quick," he

"I'll talk to Mrs. B tonight." I said happily. (tonight,')

I haven't edited any further. You really need to keep an eye on your dialogue.

Thank you Barbara yes dialogue is important you're right I do need to keep an eye on it although I think I'm doing it okay I go back and I change things and I had commas or I'll switch them their places but absolutely I have to find some way to resolve that as soon as I have moved away which is in another week I think I'll take a course thank you very much again Barbara gold to me it is truly precious! Again my apologies for such a late return I have been away and I hope to get moving soon! Thank you again I hope you have a wonderful day!

Gosh, Lea, I hope you don't see yourself as "Writing terms of your disentanglement--Blindingly indulging your thankless blind whim." That would be your mother's perspective. These books of yours are certainly no thankless, blind whim. They are and will undoubtedly be serving to inform and educate others of the horrors of child abuse and the failures of social services to protect you from it. Many will thank you for this.

Yay! No more rats in the walls. I'm so happy for you that you've found a new home in the place you love, far away from the torments of your past life. May you live long and prosper there, to quote a famous sci-fi character.

Such a sweet part of your story, Lea, this liaison with C. He's given you a chance to move on with your life now. You've had a wonderful year with the Bs but you seem ready to move on. This has such potential to be good, but I keep thinking of the song from Les Mis called "I Dreamed a Dream" in which Fantine relates the tale of her youth when her man loved her and left her with a baby to struggle for the rest of her shortened life. I fear that's what's coming next for you. "Say it ain't so, Joe." - Jim

As you know life has many ups and downs because of my lack of knowledge in my years behind of what it is to be out in the world as I said I made many mistakes but I also learn from them so are they mistakes really they're just something I know not to do next but it does matter when others are involved and hearts could be hurt so I am mindful of all these things. Thank you my fine friend for your kind review and your wonderful rating I am honored and pleased to receive them!

This sounds like a good thing and I'm sure it some ways it was. Life has its up and downs and we can we never know for sure what is next. I'll look forward to finding out. I'm curious about this new place you're moving to. Will you live alone? Is it a community or a cabin in the woods? Or you renting or owning? Tell us more about what it is like.
