The title it came from outer space sounds very familiar I can almost that was the one that was coming to my mind even before you mentioned it. A long time ago. My brother used to act things out the same as you have He was watching the Cowboys shows and was pretending he was getting a fights with people and rolling off the couch onto the floor and then jumping onto the couch and pretending he was jumping onto a horse. What fun memories.

Oh the nostalgia! I always used to watch Mistress Elvira and Friday night Creature Feature. The sets were the worst and the movies were worser still but I loved them so much! lol Thank you for sharing.

I remember It Came From Outer Space where townfolks were replaced by aliens. Think it was aired on a show called Creature Feature eons ago.
Oozing ketchup works well for blood.
Mow the yard, wash the dishes, and vacuum the floors. Sounds like she drew a tough bargain to let your friends come over to watch television. Oh, and no popcorn messes allowed either. No doubt you "got a busy morning ahead of you."

"Pimp on by" sounds like boys that age cutting up.
"p,b and js" should be p, b, and j's.

"followed by a UFO in their car" makes it sound like the UFO is inside the vehicle. Perhaps something like ...Marlow and Joan Taylor in their car on their way to launch a satellite into space, followed by a UFO.
"and recorded" should be and is recorded.
"Army of trucks" should be army of trucks.
"I should get to close the window" should be I should get up to close the window.
"Reds ball cap" should be Reds ballcap.

Your post brought back some memories of those old TV sci fi shows and the B movies of the fifties we used to watch on TV. The bowls of popcorn, the schoolboy banter about girls, it all recalls a simpler time in the chapters of life. The corny special effects of that era, the strings holding up the flying saucers, the crude costumes of Godzilla and King Kong, its all part of that lost world of the sixties. I remember coming home from school and watching Lost in Space with my sisters, the antics of Dr. Smith and the robot and Will Robinson. estory

I used to watch Shock Theater when I was younger. Our host was Bowman Body. He wore converse tennis shoes and had a bad wig also. Some of the movies were quite scary. (at least to an eleven-year old girl). But most were campy and dumb. It came on at eleven every Saturday night. Then after it was over, the national anthem and the snow screen.
