Hi Gypsy, your poem has high sensory appeal. A mom makes everything better and wipes more than tears away. Of special note:
don't worry about a thing
you won't face the world alone -
(When a person has a mother, they will never be alone, and they will never have to face anything alone.)
Well-chosen photo. Beautiful presentation. Xo. M

I read in a parents magazine or somewhere about magic "keep away the monsters spray". You take an empty spray bottle fill it 5/ 6 with water add a few drops food coloring still you get it the color you want. Add a few drops pine oil, and there you have it ! spray under beds. inside closets, Etc. You can make them small bottles for them to spray ahead of themselves on the way to the bathroom! Karen

Such a sweet poem. Written for the memory of your mother. I lost my dad a month after turning thirteen. Still makes me sad. I know he will forever be in my heart. Just as your mother will be in yours. Lovely poem. Gretchen

Another fine poem, Gypsy those childhood days when you felt so secure with your Mom (and Dad) looking out for you? Was a comforting time for sure. Sometimes being grown up isn't so good!

Your mother is with you always. I know she's in heaven looking down and smiling at the wonderful woman you've become. She also resides in your heart. Thank you for sharing this wonderful presentation with us.

Such is the love of a mother. I think that mothers are naturally more nurturing than us fathers. I know in today's world that might not be the PC to say, but it is what I see all around me. The love is as intense, but expressed differently. Ha ha! When boys come calling on my teenage daughter, they are more skittish when I am around, than when it's with my wife. Yeah! I gladly put them through hell.... And hope that my son goes through the same.
Thanks for sharing.

You had a wonderful mother. I guess you won't know the "what-if". But then you were spared the teen years when moms and daughters are at odds. So you can remember only the most beautiful parts of mothering to share with your children and grandchildren. I liked the checking under the bed!

Thank you very much, big sister. My mom was a kind and loving mom. I was very close to her, always following her around and sitting next to her. I was her little barnacle.

Lol. No, not a barnacle! A forget-me-not flower! Or something small and pretty.
