Sorry but the contest does state your monostich must be on a single line. I wrote it that way to stop entries emulating Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass.
I would suggest using a smaller font or removing a word or two maybe both. Good luck.

This is an excellent monostich poem for the contest
as long as the wrap around line is considered one sentence
due to space limitations.
Your poem reflects the wrap around scarf itself.
