I like this very much Kay, talk about a ghost ship, heh heh, so, perhaps they live on, those that went down with, the captain did, as well as the band. But I love this post, beautifully written, blessings Roy

This is an excellent Little Poem that points us to the very real tragedy of the white star line Titanic. You remind us that opulence and incredible wealth are not insulators when it comes to tragedy. My guess is that even the ghosts have figured it out by now.

Hey, Dr Nad. Many thanks for reading. Some reviewers just didn't get it; the passengers were ghosts living in the past before she sank. Thank you, Kay. xx

You are most welcome my friend.

This is unique and interesting, Kay. It makes an excellent entry in the 75 Words Flash Fiction contest because the thought of those lingering ghosts stays on a persons mind long after reading the story. Well done!

I love your 75word flash fiction story Kay. To me it shows their lack of compassion they had for the ghosts of the Titanic. You show various emotions in this one, K. Good luck in the contest.
Cheers

Hello Valda, Thanks so much for reading. Google has images of ghosts photographed on the bow of the wreck. Cheers, Kay.

Your clues, including the 'Supernatural Fiction' classification, and preview statement, 'The Titanic lives on,' lets us know things are not as they seem. Your story flows smoothly into a surprising conclusion...the characters are ghosts. Very imaginative. Best wishes in the contest.

Eerie! I imagine there would be many ghosts still hovering over that particular wreck. It is one that continues to fascinate even to this day. Most evocative.

I like how you made us think of the Titanic by the conversation and the setting and the kind of people who would be on a luxury liner. Then you surprise us with the ending that it's the ghosts of those passengers. Well told in just 75 words. Best wishes in the contest!

Ohhh, you gave me chills, Kace. A creepy story in 75 words. You chose the Titanic, which is famous for many reasons. It was a larger than life ship with a short living history, and lots of post sinking. Luxury and hubris marked its romance with us, and you took our prior relationship with the ship and made a really quick scary story.
Great job,
Rhonda

Hello Rhonda (long time no see?) Not many call me Kace. Thanks for reading, not easy to write a story in 75 words! Blessings, Kace XX

I agree on the short story. I promise you, it's not my strength. I'm was too wordy, lol. I've tried, but it comes off too bland. Yours was great!!
Was Kace right? It's what I thought I remembered, but memory does tend to come and go...
Blessings to you as well,
Rhonda

Kace is right. How long have you been off FS?

I was real active back when Fez, Dean and Iamcat, were on here, starting about 10 years ago. I could name others, but you get the idea. I had a few years of on and off due to multiple surgeries, but have been back since about October. I'm glad to have run into you again.

Yeah! Welcome back Rhonda. K xx

Ah, so the 'people' speaking are ghosts. I wasn't sure, if they were on another ship named after the famous ship. The brief author's notes does help with the understanding.
Good luck in the contest.
