What a wonderful happy ending. It is a bit cheesy, but there's no harm in that. It's smoothly written with everyone given a place in value with their belongings during previous chapters. I breathed a sigh of satisfaction. kay

Lol. I took a three or four year break from fanstory so I get it. Sometimes you just need to step away. I just hope you aren't away for long. I love your style of writing and your slice of life stories. Always a pleasure to read. But I just started two separate books. The Coyote Boys (dark) and Detour(co-authored with Rachelle Allen) a comedy. Check them out if you feel like it. Thanks for seeing Satwater Ghosts off. Gretchen

Oh, thank you so much. So far, everyone has approved of the ending. It just felt right to me. And you know how I like to leave an open ending. Lol. Your encouragement throughout this is greatly appreciated. On another note, are you looking for a publisher for Jonathan's story? You really need to publish it. Thanks so much Gretchen for your offer to help. So far I don?t have a publisher. Is it Kindle Direct Publishing you use? I lack confidence in undertaking it myself. But I might give it a go. A literary editor has checked it for me and offered a few suggestions. I have to indent every paragraph! I hope to get back to it, maybe this week if I have time. I am glad you think it is a worthwhile read. Thank you for your encouragement and I definitely appreciate your offer of help. I?ll get back to you. Cheers.

Yes, Kindle direct. My only real suggestion is to check out the different size books they offer then before you upload, make sure your manuscript is that size in your file. Trust me, I found that out the hard way. Lol. Good luck!

This is a great ending to the story. Nothing wrong with a little romance after a lot of adventure. The people in the story have been wonderful people to meet and you did a good job of making them come alive.

This is a fine way to tie up all those loose ends and you end this story with a new beginning for Heddy and Lester and I don't think it is cheesy at all. I love happy endings and everyone is happy here except for Lester's Aunt who seems to be zoned out most of the time after her spell in the mental hospital. I like it that Willis has found the perfect love of his life, and is happy, and how wonderful that Arti is now an American citizen. And then there is Lester, he came back as he promised. And he's the new post-master! LOL, you are a crafty lady leaving that right to the end. Heddy has her man, and she had one more visit from Nonni.
