Easy-peasy lemon squeezey... as the saying goes. They'll figure it out!
I think they are very resourceful in this slueth stuff.
This is entertaining story line and fun to read.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks Roy! Never heard of it. Maybe I will check it out. I was going for a Agatha Christie feel

Well done

This reminds me for whatever reason of Inspector Hercules Poirot, and the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. The movie, of course, I didn't read the book. That's quite a team you have assembled.

Awesome. I was shooting for an Agatha feeling! But Tom, you have been reading me long enough to know that there will be a twist!

Good old Hattie, not perfect with her slight memory loss, but definitely in charge! Love the ploy with Joy:)) And the poke on her nose as the signal to open her eyes. Your lovely story continues to be a treat to read. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Somehow they will need to smuggle that work roster back into its place again. Was the fourth floor attendant really absent that night, or did he just call in sick for an alibi, but really sneak in? These old ladies can get away with a fair bit, and put it down to the confusion of old age. Lol. Well done.

Since the one on 4th floor didn't show up that night they still don't have a lot of answers. At least these ladies seem to enjoying the procerss of sneaking around and trying to get the bottom of the murder.

Are these ladies going to get this roster back the same way? It will probably be missed. I do like this story.
Joy came and sat next to Hattie and Nellie in the reading room. (sat beside Hattie)

Oh, you have a group of senior citizen crime-solvers. I love the part when Hattie forgets the day Mr. Howell died. I just know they'll get down to solving this one, but not without a lot of drama.
Typo: Brassiere, bra.
Great chapter, my friend.
Sending you my best today as always.

Our elderly sleuths are pulling it together now, aren't they? They'll get to the bottom of this but what happens if they discover the work roster missing? I'm enjoying your story. Thanks for sharing.
