Face to the dashboard; I'm on board. This Lady and I use the term lightly; she doesn't know when to shut up, lol. I can't imagine being stuck in a car on a trip with her. I'd be jailed.

She is chewing gum, not quietly, nor politely, mind you. No, Jane is doing those little snaps and pops and her red stained lips are open and flapping.
It takes every ounce of strength not to slam on the brakes just to watch her head hit the dash board.
I'm like you, I can't stand when people crack the gum, it's so damn annoying!
I'm enjoying your adventures and look forward of what's in store.
Will Jane survive?

You and Rachelle really are the Dynamic Duo. I love the way this story is unfolding, I mean except for the vulgar, obnoxious wanna be poet that has invited herself along. I suppose we needed her to give the story a little extra jolt. I wrote a blog once about having electric hot plates installed in library seats where the computers are located. Then when someone stays too long, the seat gradually heats up until they can't stay seated anymore. It sounds like Rachelle's new car should be equipped with one. It would certainly come in handy. Well done gal.
