A clever device here, Doug, to gather your reviewers around Hattie as well to recap on the suspects and make suggestions. The finger of suspicion seems to be pointing at Hazel but that may be too obvious:
not only was (she) a recipient....
(Well) anyways that's....
This continues to intrigue and keep us guessing. An excellent chapter. Many thanks Debbie

Yep reads like a movie. My husband and I are big fans of murder mystery movies the ones that are serious and the ones that are a bit silly and there have been a few. Well this was just a small section I thoroughly enjoyed the read.

This leaves Becky, Debbi, and Phil. I heard it is not unusual for residents to leave stuff to their caregivers. It may be that their being immensley bored, made them see evil doing where there is none. However, I vote a note was found where Mr. Howell wrote about his appreciation for her weekly handjobs. and that his lack of caring relatives made it easy to give whatever he had left, to the only person that gave him joy. This note was written to Debbi not Becky. She forged the will. And she is shipped off to larceny land. Becky quits her job and moves to Florida where their are bigger fisn to fry. :-)

Good job, Doug! You've got these people buzzing at the seams and about to crack this case wide open. Go Hattie! I have enjoyed every chapter and it's awesome to prove "old age" doesn't mean you lose all your brains...you might move slower, but even the turtle finished the race.

Great analogy, Carol. This was an interesting avenue for me! Thanks for the sixer!

Was Hazel the murderer? Although, I'm pretty sure it wasn't intentional. She just wanted to have a good time. I can't wait to see what Hettie has to say about all of this. I enjoyed this bunch.
