Hmm, the people we meet in our long lives are both a blessing and a lesson. We learn so much from random encounters. You learned of a love story between two people, that last until the end and began late in life. It happens. Glad they found some happiness.

It's never easy to watch anyone passing, even at 94. Yet, it's nice to read about those like John and Beth who found each other late in life and were able to savor the pleasures for at least a short while. Thanks for sharing.

My progress notes have always been a record of exactly what was said. I know that this is a bit unusual but my stories have dialogue because even that is factual.

If it is not, you have a way of creating a truth with words that is honest and heartfelt.
Now for my other comment about editing.
I noticed a few little things that just made me go back and re-read over, as if stumbling and this pulled me out of the narrative vision you were creating.
An example would be
getting connected with hospice
**getting connected with (a or the) hospice

Veteran's Day falls on a Monday. There have been times when, instead of Veteran's Sunday occurring the Sunday before or the day before, got tossed into the next Sunday, six days later.
Yes, this is a true story. I have a unique passion to write down everything that is said, into my progress notes. As a result, when I write a story I have all that was said in every session that was held.
