Ooh, boy logic. I remember that. My son was an expert. He's in the RAAF and he, too, grew up to be a prideworthy specimen of male. They do test one though when young. This is, as I would expect, beautifully written in a conversational style.

Thank you for the understanding.

Well, boys are boys, lol. There's no two ways about it. I had to smile when I read this. I can just imagine it. So Greg, in his infinite teenage logic, took the shortest route to the back yard. I bet you were angry. Smile. Ulla xcx

I don't have much time tonight to go to depth or detail like I would like to. But once again you're writing is clear concise and systematically articulate. That's what we have come to expect from you. Thank you so very much.

Barbara,
This is a great story about your son. You have to admit he used ingenuity. Did you really think a teenage boy wouldn't take a short cut? I guess it backfired on him though.
Great job

That's what boys do! Lol. I had two sons, and now have one grandson, Eric, and I'm sure they got up to just as many naughty things when they were young, a lot of them I'm only finding out about now. Then it's funny. As I'm sure you were smiling as you wrote this one. Loved it, Barbara. Well done. :) Sandra xx

Hey Barbara.
This is a great story about your son Greg. As soon as I read the water trail through the house, I knew exactly where that was going. I was a teenage boy 65 years ago. HAHAHA

Okay, you gotta give the kid a *little* credit for an ingenious solution in some ways. Haha. This is such a wonderful memory, though I understand as a mom, at the time it was frustrating.
I enjoyed your story!

I am a proud mom of my sons. They were not perfect growing up. Next, I'll tell of story of my wild child, Jeff. Thank you for understanding.
Comment from Esther Brown
Teens are a challenge. I had one ambitious one (Half-African son number one) and one mischievous lazy one. Variety is the spice of life. I am enjoying watching my elder son deal with his 15 year old. I suspect the younger one (now 9) will be a rascal. Gotta love em. Esther
