Everyone in a Merry Christmas mood. And as the day grows closer, I'm sure it will only get more holly and jolly and festive as can be. Thanks for sharing.

Another Christmas tale, this time with your familiar characters and of course your wonderful Eleanor who is taken back in time as she becomes nostalgic at the sight of her younger self. Your ending of course hints at further adventures as she and Charles dissolve "into shimmering light." We know that they will all meet again. Thank you for sharing this delightful Christmas reunion, Carol. Take care Debbie

Carol, This is a very well written chapter. You used very good descriptive words and great dialogue. I look forward to reading more. We have our middle son and his wife coming in to town tomorrow evening. May be quite busy this week, but I will check on fan story when I can. love you dear friend! Teri

Carol,

This is a wonderful story. i am so glad you brought Charles back for Eleanor. This is leading up to another book and I can't wait. You're giving us a taste of what is to come. Brilliant.

Great job my friend

I can't wait to read more. I feel somethings brewing too.

The detective, her translucent form shimmering in the holiday lights, appeared alongside him. (doesn't make sense.)

"Troubles coming. I can feel it in my bones."

Far across the Atlantic, the snow fell heavily over the (need to indicate scene change, like you did earlier)

Charles stepped closer, his voice gentle. "I captured your strength. (gentle,)

The Inspector clinked (because of 'The' inspector has a lower case 'i')

Well my dear friend.
Another 6 for a couple of reasons, it may help you reach your goal so consider it a bit of a Christmas gift from across the pond. And also, as it was nice to see another foray into the life? Of Eleanor.
But, snow? England?
They must be north of the Thames LOL

Oh, lovely, another series with Eleanor and the other characters. There should be an interesting battle over Dylan, with two strong women vying for his attention. Will Eleanor step in? Of course she will! LOL. Blessings and merry Christmas. Carol

Your story has such a cozy atmosphere. It's full of charm and mystery! I loved how you brought the holiday spirit to life with the snowy streets and the lively market scenes - so warm. Tango's interaction with Danni had me smiling. And I could really feel the emotional weight he carries. The story builds so beautifully with just the right touch of suspense. Keep up the wonderful work!

Thanks so much, Michael. I couldn't end the year without sharing some time with Eleanor and the gang. I've tossed together about four stories where they are sharing Christmas Eve and buried a few hints about the new novel to begin in January. Thank you always for all your support and kindness. I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Are we going into another mystery novel here, Carol, or is it going to be a short one for Christmas. This chapter lends it's way to both. Danni is such a tease and Sandra isn't going to stand there and let Charlie pinch Dylan from under her nose. I suspect fun and games coming up!! loved this, my friend. I think you have based Danni's character on you!! You are as big a tease as she is!! LOL!! Enjoy your Christmas, dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

I am laughing my head off, my friend. And of course, enjoying being with Eleanor once again. This is not the fourth book... but I am dropping clues of what's to come here and there so see if you can pick up on them. I've posted two sections today and am working on two sections for tomorrow. I am so close to moving into 2nd that I can hardly stand it...but I don't know if I will make it or not. I'll post another two before I leave in the morning...Happy reading..... Love ya, Carol

How nice that you've brought Eleanor into the anthology of your Christmas stories! She's like an old friend...

Friends should gather on the holidays and her shimmering glow may be even more special, as she enjoys her Christmas Spirit!

Read closely, my love. There are hints about the next book. Just a tease or two. And how could I possibly end the year without one last merry go around with Eleanor and friends. Hope you enjoyed it...and a few more to follow.
