Again, it takes way more courage and strength than I have. I couldn't even imagine what it must be like fighting for your country like that. We must thank these people everyday because they give us our freedeom and make it so the rest of us don't have to go through what they do.

This reads like a log of some sort. It is descriptive, but needs a little work on expression. It describes everything moment by moment, but some sentences seem incomplete. Perhaps this is how they do it. I wouldn't know since I have never been in combat. That's why I am rating it this high. It feels like a real account of events. Good descriptions, God bless you!

I like the stacatto feel to this "story", it moves the action and puts the reader on patrol. The foreboding is palpable. Well done.

I think the beauty in this post is the cold short snappy sentences - putting us right into the combat zone. I liked the style and I liked the voice.
Rain and fog was on the ground. I wondered if you needed the 'was' in that? Thought it would sound just as good - Rain and fog on the ground.
