Just beautiful. It made me cry.
Lost my Dad when I was 15.
Just lost my mother-in-law this January.
This is moving and incredibly well wriotten.
Many will relate.
Well done.

deepwater: your writing is deep and full, not a timid bit of fancy, but with muscles bulging! I'm a new fan because I want to see what's next. livelylinda

I love it, it is so beautiful, we all have those memories of our parents or grandparents who have passed on. The part of life we have to endure the pain of loss.
Well written.

Another wonderful poem about family members that excels and has a great visual and concise merit. Your writing is so good and inspiring with a good balance and flows in the right direction which is so adequate. An emotional poem very creative and full of emotional wording that capture the moment. Good write, again.

Oh this was beautiful! Good job, this was a great read. From the first line to the last I enjoyed every word. :) If i had to choose, my favorite lines were:
I think of both from time to time,
Knowing we'll be together again some day,
Remembering little things in life
We cherished along the way,
Great job, and keep up the amazing work!

Boy, how many of us have been here....
Yet, you wrote it down for us..... I too, miss my mom and gram.... I was lucky enough to have very good ones like you.. the good things about someone never die... It lives on in our hearts... That's what this says to me.... Bryan

I must admit that I wiped away a little tear as I read this. My Grandmother is gone, but I am lucky enough to still have my mom. This was a great poem.

This is beautiful and very touching. It is hard when we lose loved ones. Their memory lives with us forever. I like the last two lines of your poem. Nice work.
