'the twilight of history and age' is an extremely well- written and thought-provoking piece. Attempting to answer this talented poet's rhetorical questions is more than would dare to try. This was an intriguing work to both read and review.

Hello deepwater,
This is a pleasantly put but searching bit of philosophy in which you expressed your point of view clearly.
It is a well written poem and an interesting read. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, W ^-^

Comment from Hurricane Dean
I think the last lines in this poem are really powerful:
"we each have our travels through the vistas of life, and, if our paths should perchance meet, well, perhaps we may travel together for a time..."
For me, these lines really pull the piece to together and makes this well worth a five star review. Good job. Dean

I like the sense of passing on the torch from age to youth in these lines: "This generation is yours, the past we endured to bring you up to this day." Best regards, Jeanie Mercer

Interesting choice of analogies. The poem flows well and is relatable and easy to decipher meaning. It keeps the reader thinking after the poem has bee read and gives time to engage in own philosophies.

What a great thought provoking write done so explicit of commentary and philosophy. I love your mindset in this one and agree wholeheartedly with the whole poem. Great job here deepwater. Made me to stop and pause in reflection here.

Inspiring...
This is like a reflection upon years spent and what you leave behind for the next. It is so beautifully written; the choice of words, the imagery and the theme.
Might I suggest you split the second last line? I feel when you break it up, it would be more emphatic. But then, thats just subjective and can be ignored too.
On the whole a really, really, lovely poem.
