As a young person I would sit on the end of my bed and pretend I was driving a covered wagon. And Rawhide was one of my mother's favorite programs so the song goes well with your poem.

I also like how your poem brought back memories of my childhood days.

Excellent

This is a great poem. Makes me think of galloping hooves and the crack of a whip. I used to love the Lone Ranger when I was a kid. There's a great rhythm to this, even though it's a free verse. Nice work, Ine.

This is a great poem, but perhaps you accidentally left out the word out near the end of your poem where it reads
Don't roll of your chair. Loved the picture and remember rawhide very well. Thanks for sharing Vonnie

I liked memories of youth and love their saddles.I thought of old Western movies.Great pic and well done.This is an excellent style.Well worded!beth hugs.There was no theme song.

Thanks for your poem about cowboys and cattle herders. My uncle has a ranch in Alberta, so I've seen what you're writing about and have written a few horses too.
