Yes, this is definately about the joys of coffee. I have two sons who are coffee fanatics and they like coffee both iced and hot. Yours was a very entertaining read. "bound and gagged on percolated airs" - such unique wording. Best of luck in the contest.

I enjoyed your creative use of language and this one is my choice. however, I think your ode is mistitled as you speak of coffee exclusively. Even in your description line the "black stuff" is a coffee reference as caffine is white, also found in tea, chocolate, soda and other things. Just a thought.
