Holy Cow!!!!! This is one of the longest poems I have ever seen on this site, at least in the fantasy genre. It's well written and very well constructed. I am impressed you managed to keep the story going for so long.:)SS

This is one of the longest poems I have ever read. It reminds me of something Shakespearean or Norse, a story written within rhythmic verse. It was a thrilling and enjoying read and you certainly deserved to win. My only criticism, though not really as I imagine this was incredibly difficult to write, is of the changing number of syllables in certain lines. They occasionally come away from the musical flow of the whole piece and I felt having to stop and start took away from its otherwise powerful melody. Still an epic read. I remove my hat and bow to your success.

Ahahhaha! We have a bard in the house! This is the easiest 6 ever. Unless I was in a bad mood and didn't feel up for medieval times. But that is a rare thing. Bravo Maestro

Well, Jesus bleeding Christ! It me almost over a year, but I finally made it to the end...Phew! LOL! Don't think I have the strength to critique no more--or for anything else for that matter. LOL!
Well, this was indeed a grand enterprise. All the libraries in the world couldn't hold these words. LOL!
Yes, true sight is from within, and not just physical. Serves that Serep...Serep...Serves him right! LOL!
Good rhymes in this wonderful mythological story-poem.
Great imagery, dialogue and intrigue.
I'm certain there's some punctuation issues here...but, ahh, I'm beat! LOL!
Best of luck in the contest...for those with the heart to brave such reads. LOL!

authors, now where do I begin.. ummmm. what an absolutely brilliant fantasmagorical tour de force!!! I enjoyed every singlyesyllable, hung on to every word and rode every phrase down the page with such excitement, I did not want it to end. A magical tale with exceptional imagery and characters. The theme was consistent and drawing and never did it lag or become confusing. Each stanza blended right into the other effortlessly!!1 I cannot say enough!! Yes, step it up.. xylok is a fantastic poet and a great challenger of wit and artistry. I love him, for it is by his encouragwement that produce works like this. I was going to enter, but unfortunately I believe xylok has left the site. That is not to say, he will not be back to read and review, for he does leave time and again, but this time I am under the impression he won't be back. I hope I am wrong. Best wishes to you in the contest,, most deserving. Epics truly showcase a poets ability to write and sustain. Pure brilliance, deserving of a six, but I have none today.. best wishes.. jlsavell

OMG I thought it was never going to end. But I don't mean that in a bad way, it was penned brilliantly as a poem story.
If this was in a story format I probably wouldn't have wondered where is the end....It's a funny twist I suppose that when one begins to read a poem your brain is not thinking in story length....Once I shifted to that understanding it all fell into place for me.
Excellent penned skill in this one, imagery, rhythm and rhyme were fantastic......I loved it once I got over the shock of the eternal never ending poem:)
Excellent work. Wish I had a six for it.
Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

Sereptoclops? Is that with an "I"? This is a tremendous FAIRY QUEEN-esque epic with a cool as cool ending. Sereptoclops is a boss name as well.

I have read this tale in its inirety, I did not loose intireity at all, it may be a long write but it is impressing at all points. You have made a great statement with this in the end. It is well worth reading to the end. Mary

I absolutely loved this poem. It kind of felt like one of Aesop's fables or something from the Brothers Grimm. I used to read those stories as a kid. I loved the moral at the end as well. There were a few lines that kind of hung me up because I got used to reading the two line rhyming format you started with and then something wouldn't rhyme and it would throw me off a little. But it did not detract from the story at all. Great job completing something so difficult. I look forward to more in the future.
