"They saw all their friends, out flying their kites".
"Then Daddy Mouse caught that string hanging down,
Wound round his hand it brought Cyril to ground".
"Daddy Mouse smiled but then told each one.."
I know I always do this and you don't have to agree but it just gives you more options.

Thank you, Andrea!! Yes I know you always do this, but that's what this site is about, isn't it? To help, to learn and to improve. You have given me lots of great advice in the past, which I have used most of. I am going to post a huge one in a couple of weeks, it will only be read by a very few people, I expect, but I hope you will be one of them. It is a Christmas story, and as I said, its long! 30 stanzas by the normal 6 lines. I want to get this published for next Christmas if it is good enough. Some one like you reviewing it, would be a great help to me, if you have the time!!!! It is still with my little furry friends, so I hope it will be liked. Thank you, Andrea for this lovely and most helpful review, I do honestly appreciate it! xsx Sandra

As long as you are happy, so am I. It's nice to feel useful, and to be honest it's nice to have something useful to say. Some writers can't bear any kind of criticism even though they claim to want a truthful review! Andrea

Hi Donald, Thank you for your lovely review! You might have read some before, this is the 26th story. The first book of 11 stories is in the shops and on Amazon on 29th of this month! I can't give you a 6 for this as I don't have one. This was a joy to read. Before I read your author's notes, I thought, "this should be in a book." Exceptional. Thank you. I think of writing children's stories, but I'm not ready yet. Thanks for the inspiration.

My Colton sure is a fan! His eyes lit up and he said " The baby mouse went flying?!" We laughed together after reading this one. How truly blessed you are to be able to write for children! I write things that my children cannot read most of the time. I'm just not good at writing for children but I wish I was. Especially after seeing colton so happy! Best wishes
