I have never in my life been as amused with life as I have being a parent to dogs and cats. I enjoy their company and silliness equally with that of my human family and friends. In fact, I consider them family! Hope your poem does well in the contest with it's fun imagery. Blessings, Linda

I love the picture.I am glad it is the dogs turn to look silly. I endured the silly string while my kids were growing up. I would find it in their hair for days. Great work.

This was a nice play on words, and I also loved the bit of alliteration you employed to enhance the piece. My only nit is that I'm not sure if "muzzle" is being used as a noun or adjective for "mutts."

Actually, I was using "muzzle" as a verb ... to muzzle mutts, meaning to put a muzzle on a mutt - hmmm, will check on that. Glad you liked this piece, the play on words and bit of alliteration. Appreciate all your comments ... ;o)
