Wonderful Sandra
I love these tales and they are a joy for young kids. They remind me a bit of the type of stories I had when I was young. Tales from the Riverbankesque and they warm your cockles as my old Nan used to say.
Absolutely fantastic, Perky the Penguin :-)
You are so right innocence is something that is lost too soon and to think (like Noah obviously must have LOL) that all animals get on is a wonderful thought. Like the thought that Santa is real. The snotty nosed brat that spoils it at school is so disappointing.
Keep it up my good friend you are the tops.
Blessings

Spike, you always make my day! You are so wonderfully funny, the snotty nosed brat spoiled it for me too!! I had to revert to pretending to my parents that I still believed in case I didn't get any presents!! LOL, I still do it! My Nan used to say that too, warms the cockles of my heart. Thank you so much for this wonderful review, Spike and for the wonderful 6 stars! You are such a good friend! Will we be seeing some more of yours soon? I hope so! xsx Sandra :)

Hi Sandra
I think I may have to take a break from FS for a few weeks. I am so under pressure that I am working 7 days a week and long hours to boot. By the time I read I am absolutely knackered and have no time to write. I will try and bookmark so I don't miss work. But reading and reviews in arrears are taking their toll.
You can always let me know if you have something posted by email.
Blessings
Spike

Hi Spike, you have my e.mail address, just let me know how you are getting on. Don't worry about catch up reviewing, most don't when they are off for a while. It mounts up so much you can't expect to review when you come back on. I don't mind if you miss some of mine, not that I post as often as some, but I do know how hard it is to keep up. You have responsibilities and they come first. When you are famous, then you can relax and enjoy. Take care my friend. Sandra xsx

This is really cute. I'm sure little kids would love it and relate. That is if they live where there is sometimes snow and ice. Here in Missouri, that is almost every winter. Good job on this and enjoyed it.

Sandra, you have a very special gift for these beloved poems - SOOOOO wonderful to read aloud! I do hope your book as sold well, because it CERTAINLY deserves to! I'm so sorry I don't have a six for you but you CERTAINLY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST A TEN! :)Sharyn ... Absolutely charming and I so appreciate the trippity rhythm. Have you ever read any of an old Australian poet, Kenneth Slessor? He, too, was a master of the unstressed syllables. :)Sharyn

LOL, Thank you, Sharyn! What a lovely thing to say. I don't think I have read any work from Kenneth Slessor, I will have to look him up. Thank you for your wonderful review, Sharyn, a 6 or even a 10, couldn't be as nice as the lovely words you've written. :) xsx Sandra

This is the first time i have read from this series. I have to say it is an extremely interesting piece. It flowed very nicely and the rhythm is also very good. My first inkling was to give you 5 stars, but if I had, it would have been because there were no pictures with the story. (duh....) Fortunately, I realize I cannot penalize you for something you cannot control. Excellent work. Good luck.

Thank you so much, Mai Mai! What a lovely review and thank you agian for the 6 stars! It is sad I can't put more ilustrations on here. My first book has some beautiful pictures in it. If you go to my profile and click on my book, you can look inside and see them. The second book and this one when it is finished, will be illustrated too. Thank you again for both the lovely review and the 6 stars! :) Sandra. xsx

Yippee! They're back. As you've probably guessed, I adore well rhymed poetry, especially when it tells a fun story. You nailed it girl (just for a change!) I was with the guys all the way. Darn thing wont let me give a six though.

Oh wow what a cute read and interresting story. If we could all take from this and learn to get along wouldn't it be wonderful. But then you would not have the impact this gives. It was such a great and fun read

This is the first time I have caught your series. It is my mistake. This is a wonderful poem and I know my first graders would love me reading it to them.

Thank you so much, Barara. I have been visiting schools in England, with my first book in this series, reading to the children, I found it amazingly satisfying. The questions they asked me about my furry friends, were wonderful. I have been asked to come back with the second book when it is released. I feel really honoured. Thank you again for your lovely review! :) Sandra.
