So in the red corner, we have Mary Ann. In the blue corner, we have Leslie Ann. The referee is this delusional dude named Thomas. Well, I say sound the bell, and let's get ready to rumbllllllllllllllllllllle! LOL

Very entertaining. :)

This chapter does a great deal to build on plot and characterization, setting the scene--possibly--for a big catfight between two strong women.

Good chapter Dossie...
It's all beginning to unfold and things coming to a climax ... Lets see how MaryAnn puts Leslie down and in her place.
Should become even more interesting and heated...

Having a strong family to back you and yours is always a good thing. Trustworthy and steadfast family can help others in the clan stay together and make it.

You're so right, Curly Girly! I like your thoughts on family. If you are lucky enough to have a great one, you're extremely lucky!

Have to admit you hooked me with the photo. If that's Thomas, how can Leslie resist him. The rejected lover seems to know about women. He can tell Mary Ann is a match for Leslie.

Thanks, Spitfire. Leslie Ann is driven by getting whatever she wants. Even though Thomas loves her madly, she wants Jonathan, her happily married professor.

Dossie,

This is another absolutely outstanding chapter. All the conniving Leslie Ann is capable of now that she has all that money to play with remains to be seen. Mary Ann is not one to take Leslie Ann's threat lightly. Now that she knows, the action is bound to become intense. We are about to learn what kind of metal Jonathon is made of. As for me, I'm routing for Mary Ann and the children.

Thomas' actions may backfire on him.

Go, Mary Ann, put that little troublemaker in her place. Work it out without her money. Let's bring some values back into this world! Fun to read

Thanks, angelmagnet, I agree. Marriage is still, as far as I am concerned, the foundation of civilized society.

Yesss! I love Mary Ann. Can she outwit Leslie? Getting exciting now. And good for Thomas, I say!

>>For her to think she can utterly toss

Use "could", not "can".

>>And the wretched wench, somehow

Remove comma.

>>Her fine skin, spiky eyelashes and beautiful flaxen hair
Plays havoc

Change "plays" to "play".

>>True Leslie Ann

Need comma after "True"
