good luck in the contest
your few words allow the reader to see and feel the robber squirting the lady in the eye's to steal her gems
to the surprise of the offender her quick thinking and an accurate kick left him in agony
flows well easy read

I LOVE THE POEM. This theft got his come-uppance. Merely blinding his victim did not work. I hope the kick got him in a really painful area. Some times you get the victim, sometimes the victim gets you. Great work. Good luck with the contest.

Aside from not quite understanding who is squirting whose eyes with what, I experience a certain charm and sense of communion with the narrator upon reading this poem. No "slick trickster" (nice assonance and consonance!) would get very far from my raised foot, either! It's been proven. Being a life-long soccer player, I pack equal "scoring power" with both feet! Thanks for the laugh, and good luck in the contest! Steph

Well, I like this. Nicely done. He surely got his come-uppance. LOL. I really think this is quite good. Possibly good enough to be a winner. Good luck. Miss Sally
