I've discovered that very thing about life staying the same the more it changes. It's a strangely common learning during ageing, as we start to recognise patterns in our own lives, the world beyond us, and history itself. I see that you are a person who has been enlightened by knowledge and who has enjoyed the joy of intellectual pursuit. You've quoted enough famous people during 150 words to underline these assertions. An interesting life, well observed in your essay. Good luck in the vote!

Zanya, A wonderfully written story of your life and I enjoyed reading it immensely. From a country person to a city slicker is quite a change and it seems he like you handled it easily but with a few minor bumps in the road. I like your wittiness and cleverness in writing this very creative and illuminative story. Thank you for sharing and posting this for everyone and may you had the happiest of Easter Sundays.

You've touched upon a bit of the philosophical here, and I like it! For what is a life if not for learning? You didn't make this a personal resume so much as a refection on your perspective of life, and that made it all the more deep and meaningful. Our lives are what we see them as, nothing more. Yours looks beautiful.

Well, I must say this little piece is very interesting. And it really is difficult to sum up one's entire life in 150 words. On the other hand, one could sum it up in one word, such as GREAT, or FANTASTIC, or ENLIGHTENED (such as you). So, 150 words may be far too much.

It seems that philosophy is your thing. And you have a knack for choosing interesting contrasts calloused/softened. I wonder how much more you will find your world view has changed when you read this essay 25 or years from now... It will be interesting for you, my philosopher friend.
