Mikey, this one is cohesive and starts to bring things together for the reader. (Nice quip at the Dems, LOL) The details of the city and area give it authenticity. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

So they made it to the bus station and nobody else yet knows that Blackwell is alive. For a crazy guy the bard is quite resourceful :) This is another great chapter.

What a stunning chapter, Mike, absolutely riveting and since this is the first chapter I've read, I'm lost in the woods, but I'll be rectifying that soon.
Great dialogue, very real and 'you are there' and engaging. Heck, I liked everything about this one. This is a sixer, I'm just out!
Great,
Gayle

Hi! Wow. This really makes my week. I am delighted you liked this. I am fairly new to prose and getting a lot of help and advice. Thrilled to hear that a top of the line writer likes what I'm doing. Smiles!! mikey

The truth is coming to light. All will be happy endings eventually but there's lots to do to bring it safely to pass.
"The Bard (new) the streets of Los Angeles and that is where they were."--(knew)

That was a very interesting chapter, lots happened and they are now all coming together. The characters in this chapter seem to be on the same wavelength which is helpful for the plot unravelling. Great write, Faye

This really deserves a 5 1/2, I think. Very nicely written, with just the right amount of dialogue and narrative to keep the story moving along in an intriguing manner. It's hard no to wonder what's going to happen next, and that is the basis of any good story, right? I still see this on TV in some way - series, etc.

So pleased you are enjoying this! I do love the Bard. He is so much fun to write. Maybe a T.V. series would be good. He could comment on current events while solving crimes with the two ladies. I finally have everyone in close proximity! mikey

Yep, it seems it is all coming to a head. The Harpster was very happy to hear that Ruby was his daughter. But I agree that the fact they are alive should be with held from Winston. He is a dangerous man. Write on my friend. Nancy

It is a strange situation, but nobody knows what anybody else knows. Yes, the fear is that if Winston knew that his plan was on the brink of being exposed there is no telling what he might do. mikey

Great chapter as always. This one moved along quickly, maybe a little too quickly. The characters seemed almost frantic, yet all they were really ended up doing was meeting at a restaurant. We've come to expect little rants from bard, but that one that started about taxes was one breathless paragraph.
A little SPAG. 'The bard (k)new the streets of LA...'
Great chapter, can't wait for the next one.

I have to remember that it is a story and not an excuse for me to say anything I feel like. Hahaha. I'm have been in a hurry to get everyone closer together. I had them a little scattered around. Now they are all freeway close! More to come. Way behind so I'm going backwards answering these. I do read every one of these with great interest and appreciate them. I am just buried! Thank you much. mikey
