I love it when I come across a poem about a rhino! Not many poems about them around. Your use of words is priceless! A right horny beast is a great play on words and an a fitting ending to the poem.

A nice pun - a pity that there's an underlying tragedy in what you say for this species is being driven to the edge of extinction because of the supposed aphrodisiac qualities of its powdered horn.

Hi tony :) thank you for your comments and the stars. It is tragic for sure... When I googled for images of rhinos, many of the pictures were of rhinos that had been butchered for their horns. It is brutal. Kindest regards as always...

From the language of expressions and how the words are spoken we can at least find out what kind of personality the speaker has. In this poem there is a display of cleverness and mix with truthful declaration, on top of proudness at the same time. Excellent write. Thanks for sharing.} Lin
