Billy said a mouthful there. Some of what he wrote was insightful, and as a whole his poem did lack structure. He might become a writer someday.

Yes, I can relate to that. It is different I have found using pen and pad, as opposed to to using the old fashioned typewriter, as opposed to the new fangled gizmo I now use...cut and paste, spell check, whole thing makes it easier, or is it cheating? And to think I once used a quill.

Billy sounds like a writer to me. He isn't alone when it comes to writing down his ideas and then having to go back and do the editing. I loved the picture; it was appropriate for this post.

In writing poetry the poet encounters diverse thoughts . If the poem survives it must have acquired structure of some sort.

Every mistake in 'arts' be it words art of impression arts is another step to new creativity form, new revelation. You run this work on the platter of imagery, with good delivery of its message. Nicely crafted.

They do say the pen is mightier than the sword, you just proved it. I agree, I was on that mountainside in Wales and I felt I had to write and I guess, my poem turned out pretty good. Well chosen words to express your powerful message. Enjoyable read and good complimentary illustration. Faye

What a cool poem loaded with imagery and meaning...we have so many random thoughts and some we think are grand...it is when we have to put them together in convincing fashion we balk...loved the ending.
