Such a question to ponder for a little man. You chose a perfect piece of art to accompany. Grammar and punctuation are perfect. Good 50 word story.

I'm not sure if father knows. Maybe he has the same question in mind but is afraid to voice out.
The only difference is when father's winkie is boned, he takes every opportunity to "de-bone" it.

I can see why you this won, Debra..Congratulations on this win, & quite an accomplishment in using so little words to make us giggle ...As, the late Art Linkletter, American icon, TV Host of decades ago, always had a segment on his program, & think it was called, Kids Say the Darndest Things...I couldn't help think of this, your poem & how Robbie was asking & wondering about that special part of his anatomy.

At first I thought a winkie was a chocolate bar or something, so a bone in it would be inconvenient. Then, the penny dropped and my mind went elsewhere and I laughed. That's what you meant me to do, wasn't it? Great use of fifty words.

This a classical instance of mum hand ball balling a problem to dad, I loved this simple yet clever short story, perceptive and engaging! A good entry in this 50 word contest, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy.

Hi,
I would surmise this is a true happening? Even if not, this is really funny, and a question that is asked many times over.
I raised two boys, so been there, done that!
Good luck in the contest.
Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'.... Jax

I love the picture. I love the story. I would give the same answer you did. Go ask your Father. How do you make the answer simple enough for a six year old? How do you keep from blushing while you are answering? Great work. Good luck with the contest.
