A fitting end to an excellent love story. Really enjoyed the story, though romance is not my favourite genre. keeping me reading is a feat in itself and speaks volumes of the manner in which you wrote this. Well written with interesting characters and excellent word choice. Well done and thank you for sharing this lovely story.

Some times things just turn out just opposite of what one hopes it will and then the mistress is left out in the cold when the hubby returns to his real love

Hello Harriett,
Bravo!!
What a fast-paced, nail biting ending. I held my breath all the while, rooting for Nate and Grace.
Mary swooned ... love it!
A great, dramatic ending.
Congratulations on the novel, Auntie. Well done, ma'am!
Love,
Sonali
, Nathan stroked her (greying) hair.
but before it came to a complete (stop), Nathan pushed open
and hopped out, nearly (losing) his balance
He picked up a medium size(d) flower pot and smashed the window pane several times until it became just a big square
needed a quick (getaway).
Nathan ran through the (ground floor) like a madman
"Tell her to come (downstairs)."

Thank you so much for reading and for the corrections.

I had to give you six stars for this ending. I would have felt very bad if Margaret succeeded in ruining this family. Below are some suggestions for corrections.
"I've always feared your loved (love)for Margaret.
Margaret sat alone in her private car(carriage?)
Well done!!

Thank you so much. I'll change the loved to love. But is that what they called a private car of a 1928 train compartment, a carriage. I didn't know that. But thank you so much for the six stars. I'm glad you liked the ending.

Out of sixes, but I must say, this is deserving. As I'm just beginning to stick my toe into this genre of romantic fiction, I can see by reading your works I can learn a lot about plot and character development. What you've accomplished without losing your reader's base is most commendable. Congratulations on your closing chapter, but is it? Loren

Thank you, Loren. I'm so glad you enjoyed the ending. Yes, I think I'll end it on that note.I think everyone is little tired of Margaret.

I enjoyed this well-crafted final chapter you have written, I need to go back and read the others as well. You write very well and never lost my attention. Thank you for sharing and God Bless.

Hi. Well, really, these last two halves of a chapter need a black and white movie shot. The smoke from the train, cut to the now happier couple in the house...you get my idea, i think.
Well done on this. It kept me reading.

I knew if I kept the faith Nathan would see what woman means something and what woman was just plain mean. Some men just need time for their brains to catch up.

Thanks for the pleasure of another outstanding chapter that reeled me in and wrung me out, throughout. I was sure that I knew exactly how everything would happen, which I did, but it didn't matter one iota, as your brilliant delivery played me like a xylophone. Great story! :-)

I'm so glad that he finally came to his senses and realized his life was with Grace and the baby. I would be willing to bet he will never stray again. As for Margaret, she'll have to find love somewhere else. Even if she did return, Nate wouldn't give her the time of day. Maybe you should have an epilogue and show their life in a couple of years. Perhaps a new addition to the family -- a son perhaps to complete them. It's just a thought.

In the beginning, I thought about making it a trilogy but then, I decided to end it. I did, leave it open, though. Thank you so much for keeping up with the story.
