Yes, the old bugger the Apple did put a cinch in the old get-along as a way of equality for everybody w/o prejudice! A good poem, right number of syllables, about fruit, & good luck in contest.

Eden's demise...did you know the Bible does not specify the fruit ..it might have been a peach plum or pomegranate...but apple has been used down the ages...there is something enticing about a red apple that promises crunch delight and so disappoints when it s mushy...and ...well...our demise
God bless

I won't lie, apples are just okay for me. If I was Eden I would have been fine. I think it's the skin on the apple that turns me off. Great job though and good luck in the contest

A good and has useful qualities about them when used properly.
Certainly not to condemn you of sin when enjoying a homemade pie or applesauce.

Apple has the seductive charm. Your lines and the picture captured it perfectly. Edens demise is a killer. In three lines you've killed the apple sweet and sour.

Well done, but did you mean Eve's demise?
Your syllable count is good, the picture is perfect.
Good luck in the contest.

No, I meant Eden's, as Eve was just one of the participants. And in the end, The Garden of Eden was gone. At least this is my perception, we can't blame it all on Eve. Where is Adam's responsibility????

Good explanation.. :-)

The apple, perfect instrument of seduction. Thanks for the timely reminder of our ties to Eden. Perfect picture to complement with the one red apple on the tree.

Yes, I like this poem. The enemy always temps us with something that looks good, but turns out to be detrimental to us.
Wonderful job on this contest. Blessings, LaVonne

You have met the contest requirements nicely. This is a very creative approach to the apple and you tied it into the theme of temptation beautifully. I wish you all the best in the voting and thank you so much for sharing this with me.
