This says a lot for two lines. As long as our hearts are broken and not quite right, those verbal darts will come. Now we can go back and apologize or just heal our hearts so those darts are never hurled.

Ooooh, I felt that! Unfortunately, words DO hurt and you can't always take 'em back later as the damage done in the moment is often permanent...a dart that tears right into the soul of another. Great job!

I can see how you accomplished these ribbons, this is a powerful little write, and you wrote it well. It gives the reader much to think about.. as words can indeed be so painful when spoken out of context. Good luck to you in this contest!

I like the internal and external rhyme,it adds to the smooth flow of the lines. Your message reminds us that words are darts we do not have to hold onto. There is wisdom in your words.
