What a lovely picture and touching story you related in the author notes. This would be a Senryu rather than a Haiku, but in any case it is well done in this 5-7-5 format. I lve the thought and overall composition.

Thanks for the review. What is the difference between an haiku and a Senryu? Explain please/
-
A Haiku deals with animals and nature, while a Senryu deals with human emotions and events. Otherwise the follow the same Japanese formats and rules.

Thnaks I have change it to Sneryu

It's wonderful to hear stories of people who have overcome their handicaps to lead a productive life and be good parents. What an adorable picture. You certainly get across the feeling of pride. You might consider replacing one of the "angel" words with something else, like "she's daddy's wee cherub." judi

Thanks for the review. I admire this father for the wonderful person he is, while he could have been bitter and angry because of his disability, he is no, he is a thankful you man. I love him.

You're very welcome. He is a great example. judi

This is by far one of the most beautiful photographs I have ever seen! It really is, and I think it's so great that you shared it with so many. Your words are great too!

Thanks for the review.
The father in this story haiku has muscular dystrophy and never dreamed he would ever marry let alone become a father. He is a special young man and is a teacher. He may soon in the future be confined to a life in a wheelchair

You captured my attention when I saw the angel wings.
It is perfect for your lovely poem
And daddy looks so proud holding his precious little angle.
Thank you for sharing.

I did a sigh of relief with this because at first I thought it was about a baby dying with then angel wings but I'm thankful that wasn't the case. You did a great job and it sounds like this baby is very loved. Great job friend and I hope everyone enjoys the baby because they're only small for so long.

Thanks for the nice review. Our little angel is now almost 16 months old and her daddy is so enamored with her. He has muscular dystrophy and never thought he would marry let alone have a child. He and my grand daughter are such wonderful parents.

Well done 5-7-5 haiku. Beautiful picture of your great granddaughter. Those wings look very natural
At that age they do appear to be angels. Love the picture of you treasure

What an adorable picture. I've seen photographers do this a lot lately. The poem is sweet. With this short of a format, I would suggest perhaps changing one of the 'angels', so there is no repeated words.
Blessings,
Marsha
