Yvonne, nicely done. I'm glad Wally the Weasel could teach the
young weasels about painting. Most of I'm glad they painted
from their hearts. Looking forward to hearing more about Wally's
painting class.

I wish I had a 6 left, Yvonne, that was superb. I love children's poetry, and read a lot of it. This one is an excellent way of teaching young children how to paint a picture, drawing lines to start and from those, a whole world of pictures can be created. I love Wally, he's a cutie! Excellent, my friend. :) Sandra

Thank you so much. Your lovely comments mean more than any six.
I'm going to go over the old Wally stories. They need punching up. I'm going to try to get them published. A lot of people have suggested that.
Thank you, again, dear friend. 8-)

Beautiful! Beautiful!
What a beautiful story. You so beautifully personified Wally and set him abouton a mission that was just as beautifully important. I could imagine the little ones at rap attention and making a beautiful mess as they also created their art.
Magnificent and deserving of the accolades.

It's nice to read something so innocent and meant for children. Whatever it takes, it's always comforting to escape all of the dirt and smut of things today. Thanks for the happy feeling.

This little story poem is sooooo delightful, Yvonne. I enjoyed
reading it immensely. It's fun and playful. Has a good message
for kids of all ages that creating our own rendition of art is a
rewarding venture. Let's all go paint now! Marilyn

Oh, I'm so glad you liked it. I'm surprised how some people here have taken to him and followed him all along. I'm going to edit all of the stories, and put them on CreateSpace. I can see how I improved some as I went along. Still lots of room for that, though. LOL.
Thank you so much. I'm happy you liked Wally. 8-)

This is delightful. It was actually like teaching an art class to juniors as I remember it. And you had to be carefull the little blighters didn't make a terrible mess. I could have done with wally's assitance back in those days.
Even the forced rhymes are fun. Q. Why was the cleaning cup green? A. Because it has to rhyme with "unseen". Lol.

Thanks for reviewing.
No, because from his past stories, EVERYONE knows his cup is green. LOL.
Which rhymes seem forced?
-
Everyone but me I suppose. I had forgotten its colour. That was the only forced rhyme anyway but if it was already established as being green it wasn't forced either. If it it had been stated as green purely to rhyme with unseen then it would have been but it wasn't so it isn't (raps knuckles).
-
Awwww, you're half-right. It wasn't established in the current poem, so I guess it does seem forced. I hadn't thought of that. I was teasing you about everyone being in the know. 8-)
As always, thank you for looking out for me.

Hi Wally,
I am so happy to see that you are back again. I have really missed you. I always look forward to learning more about your teachings and I'm glad that you are willing to show all of us more about them.
I'm glad that you told us to paint from our hearts, which has been a big help to me. I noticed that most of us have learned a lot from it and have decided to keep learning more.
Thanks Wally for all of your help and for being willing to continue helping us. You are the greatest!

You're such a sweet lady. Sorry it took me so long to get back. Thank you. Love, Wally.

This is a fun poem-story. It would be ideal for children. Had you written about Wally before?
And have you painted the picture yourself?
Very enjoyable. Thanks.
