This is a very interesting Tanka poem you have penned. You used very good descriptive wording and very good imagery with the art work. I enjoyed reading and reviewing. Teri

When you are a child desiring to be an adult, it can seem as though time itself is frozen or at the very least moving as slow as molasses in the winter. You captured that whole sentiment and coupled it with the illustration in a wonderful way. Congratulations.

I do like personification! I love to think that inanimate objects have feelings. Imagine waiting to find out what you are going to be, what you are going to wear, where you are going to live, loved this, it has its ongoing story. I think they will go together. I love 'captured anticipation ' MaggieF

An interesting idea, Bill, and you have chosen a perfect illustration. A good, succinct poem and I love the line 'their dreams of life still frozen' Well done, and thank you for sharing.
