Your word choices, rhymes, and syntax are pristine, with vivid imagery, and an undulating flow like silk ribbons in a Springtime breeze.

A very well-written love poem. When two people are in love they only have eyes for each other and will enjoy each moment they can spend together. It depends on both's egos how long the relationship will last.

In splendid metaphors of moon and stars, oceans and shores, and flowers and sun, the first three stanzas of this poem express the unceasing, joyous consistency of true love. Then, the last stanza shows what devoted lovers have learned from Nature's lesson -- that remembering to be constant in caring for each other is the path to lasting harmony and peace. Therein is a greater lesson for us all, as the same principle of ceaseless, genuine caring for each other, regardless of petty differences, is the only hope for enduring peace and harmony in this world. Superb, aptly illustrated, and nicely presented in compatible background color.

You are most welcome, Susan. There is always more depth to your poems than casual readers notice consciously, but I can tell from the other reviews you get that they do feel it subconsciously. I had not realized that this was a contest entry; but, if the judges recognize that this is more than a one-to-one romance poem, you have a solid chance to win. -- Mike

This one is a tough one but I will give my overview. It is about love that is constant and unmoveable. A person who rejects love will be sorry. It is by nature that everything and everyone is in harmony with love, not hate.
