"spoken before tongue begins..." Wow, Michael this line just blew me away. So original and saying so many things, touching into the paranormal. Nice to see you posting again, I am returning to writing, slowly. A pleasure to read your work.

Love U2 and Bono. Loved your poem Mr. Michael. I'm supposing this is God? He is wherever we are, spoke to us, knew us before we were, blessed and cursed Adam and Eve. Our true north. Lovely, blessings....

I'm glad I found a few minutes to read and review some poems today. I thought this was a marvelous love poem, so romantic and so unique in every way. The theme... where you are, I am... implies such a deep connection between two, a connection that colors every aspect of life and is so strong, it defies explanation. I can't imagine a richer love. Shadow dancers... what a descriptive phrase... soul close, and completely free to trust. All of these describe something amazing and beautiful. I also loved "life taken grateful." Just the opposite of life taken for granted. That was so powerful. Life is both cursed and blessed, of course, but if you are fortunate enough to share a love like this, then you are surely among the most blessed. I loved the poem and can find nothing at all I'd want to change. God bless you, Michael. ~ Meadow

I was just thinking about you, and it was so good to see your name pop up on my screen. I was intrigued by your title and ethereal artwork. Your references to "shadow dancers" and "Adam and Eve in detail" are very effective in this love poem. Cheers and happy Halloween days- Joan

Could not make heads or tails of this posting...probably me not being in touch with...with whatever. Also, why is a song by some group included or needed? A poem should, in my opinion, stand on its own merits, background music is not required.
What is true north paranormal? Lost me with that.
This poem left me asking what and why.

A very well-written free verse poem. We are responsible for our soul's well-being. We have to go to church to find the necessary soul food required to have a healthy outlook on life.

hello Michael. This is a crazy strong piece of writing. It has layers of depth that I've never seen in your writing although I have admired the way you write always. It feels very grown up. Shows massive amounts of respect and care as well. I really liked it. Well done. xoxo Kiwi
