I'm liking that word, "insinuendo". This is a word I could use at some point in time. I'm wondering who we should stay away from? it's going to bug me all day now. I was hoping to read more about Will Robinson lol!

This is a good poem in common measure which is very English you know. There is a lady on this site who writes these everyday. It goes to show that language creates the brain which then reacts on culture. Nice expression for the word.

Thanks for the kind review. I'd say this is the form my brain immediately goes to when contemplating a new poem, but I like to mix them up. I'd guess somewhere around 20-25% of my poems are in this meter. Cheers, Craig

A descriptive combination of insinuation and innuendo. There are those people who CAN skillfully deliver such a barb and we may not even realize it at the time. Great job. I see that your Christmas gift has given you many new interesting words to write about. Marilyn

Fine post with a clear message, smooth flow and fine rhyming. The rhymes are outstanding in the last two stanzas! I love the coined word insinuendo! Fine smattering of alliteration, etc.
Just two spag typos to note, pertaining to capitalization:

Doesn't matter, it's still gossip. innuendo, insinuendo or otherwise. Excellent metre and rhyme and a most entertaining write.

It's so annoying when people pretend they aren't gossiping and spreading stories if they use innuendo or insinuendo rather than just saying it. Doesn't matter, it's still gossip. innuendo, insinuendo or otherwise. Excellent metre and rhyme and a most entertaining write.

Thanks for picking that up, GMG. It's funny, I actually do know when it is and is not appropriate to use those things, but when typing, nine times out of ten, I'll type it wrong, and have to go back to correct :)
