His wit is most certainly lacking,
but Donald is never found slacking.
His dumb tweets alone
make it hard to atone
for the voters who won't send him packing.
(Don't stop! I'm loving these!) *grin*

Haha, I'll pay this one. Unfortunately, there seems to be a never-ending supply of material. Thanks for the fun review :)

An excellent and accurate jab at Trump, and a fun way of introducing your reader to the word 'pericranics'. Great job on this limerick, Craig. I enjoyed this fun poem! ~~ Connie

Ha, nice job with rhyming Hispanics and pericranics.
The flow and beat is pleasing in the ear, and the word lines up with the most bigliest example of lacking pericanics as one can think. I like the tone of, though it being so absurd that there is amusement, it's also reached the point of if you aren't laughing, you might be crying.
: /
I wonder what the history books will say. If time will be kind to him, and thus backwards in every way I can imagine, or if time will cleanse the grim from the lenses. Time, if it continues forward for humanity, can only tell.

For some reason, and I'm not really sure why, reading your response made me think of a member of some race of super-advanced aliens "out there" somewhere, looking at a monitor, watching this clown and shaking his big grey-green head. Cheers for the great review - Craig

Thanks very much for the kind review, Sharon. Yes, unfortunately the is far to much potential material for satire. Way more than is healthy. Cheers - Craig

Uhm, let me guess. You know, Craig, I'm coming up blank here as to who your lovely Limerick might be referring. It might possibly be my airhead balloon? LOL.
Great job and it worked out so very well that pericranics rhymes with Hispanics. That's a sign it was meant to be, yes?
Great job and great wit!

Craig, This is a very well written and cute poem you have penned. Some days I am sad about the situation with the one I office, but I realize the best thing I can do is to pray for him and America, and I do! Blessings, Teri

Well, let's hope it does some good, Teri. Personally, I think the best thing would be if he got a tap on the shoulder, and politely asked to stand down. But I don't see that happening lol Many thanks for the lovely review - Craig

You know Craig that was a very hard election for me. I didn't see anyone that was capable to me.

Oh dear, will anyone ever say anything good about him? I like that word though, it is quite decriptive and it rhymes with Hispanics! I think he could be much cleverer than you think though, love Dolly x

LOL Dolly. Please don't say he's got you hoodwinked. Thanks for the good-natured review :) Craig

I suppose I prefer to look at the facts and how America is doing financially and how the leader has handled the Korean crisis, rather than the man himself. So far America is prospering, love Dolly x
-
Let's see... he's handled the Korean crisis by labeling someone almost as unbalanced as he is "rocket man", and antagonising the hell out of the situation. And the rich in America are doing marvelously, the poor are no better off. But that will all "trickle down", no doubt. Or maybe they just don't matter. That's all from me, I don't want to start WWIII with someone I like ;-)

I am no financial wizard, but I believe he has opened the door to new jobs by adjusting the offshore taxes? Anyway I agree with you, best not to fight, I am not an American and it?s best for them to decide on their leader, I try to look a the bigger picture and some of his strategies are working and I doubt he minds that people think he is a joke, he is thick skinned and as long as he is successful for the people, then he will have achieved, history will record the truth I dare say, have a wonderful day my friend, love Dolly x

Good poem. I tried to find the meaning of pericranics and am left at a loss as to its meaning, haahhaha The only reference I could find was for Chaucer. So I'm very curious. I noticed nothing that needed editing in your poem, but I share your frustration at the world's present leaders, though I understand you're referring to Trump. A shower of bastards, in mho, hahaahahaha Ana.

I laughed aloud at this one. The Hispanics part. I am glad to see you are still giving us words from your linguistic curiosities. I don't want to miss a one of them. Great job.
