I LOVE this word and what you've done with it. Superb entry for this six word contest. Fine phonetics with consonance of S and P and M...and great picture choices too! MLK, Malala and Gandhiji. Outstanding word economy. Inspired message too. The best entry I've read. Bravo.

"Shining voices" is right, Craig! Three incredible people. How many 16 year olds would come back strong after being shot? Malala has so much strength and conviction. One can't help but admire these selfless people who stand up for what they believe in.

I think that you just won the six word poetry contest with your lamprophony word. Good job. I like the absence of punctuation and the double verbs. Those verbs are great choices. I have to admit that I don't know who the lady is.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Debbie, but I don't think so. It hasn't got a single six, and that would be very unusual for a winner. The lady is Malala Zousafzai, who is the youngest ever winner of the Nobel Prize. She was shot in the head by the Taliban as a schoolgirl for advocating the right of girls to an education, and continues to be a strong force for women's rights. What a prolific leader leaves famous speeches behind their voice is always remember and the things that they said will always be an icon and I will historical memory pages of our minds, such as Dr. King, the Obama's, John F Kennedy, just to name a few are shining voices for sure

Yes, I very much like your six word poem, Craig. We need more lamprophony around here, because it's starting to get pretty dang dark. Look at the lengths tyranny went to, to silence those voices of clarity. Malala Yousufzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban for fighting for the right of girls to be educated. It appears we are headed for the same fight for the right to an education again.
