I read, and thought to let you know I read and enjoyed, though my reviewing is suffering a bit, and for that I apologize.

This poem, if considered from a dog's pov, it does well to capture that sense of singular importance with a unit of time that is fractional to a day... with how it's perceived dog years as a fraction of time.

Me, I confiscated this poem as a plea from me to my confidence. Or my muses, or my little people--the ones who whisper stories in my imagination. Without them, I think I feel a bit like a pup waiting by the door.

Ha, the funniest part about this poem, Craig is the command that no correspondence will be entered into. Okay, I'm good to go with that. So who is the poem really about? lol.

A very well-written poem. Our dogs are truly lost without their best friends for the times we have to leave them. They hang around the house and sometimes find something to do that ends up in a big mess.

I have to wonder if there is a practical purpose for a word denoting 14 minutes and twenty-four seconds? Sure, it can be used in a sentence, but that doesn't make it practical. Don't mind me, I'm just pondering. I suppose a centiday might be relevant when calculating orbits and such. Otherwise . . .

Back to your poem. Cute, and very appropriate from a dog's point of view.

Okay, I accept the no correspondence.

But I am at liberty to comment, and this dog seems so human I'd exchange him with a lot of my human friends. Who wouldn't want such love and devotion just for themselves?

This is also the second time I read about you mentioning this book by Paul Anthony Jones. Maybe it is about time I got myself a copy.

My mistake - hardcover is $22, Kindle $8 today - that must be the version that was $10.
