I've read a few of these loop poems and I'm always amazed at how well they turn out. The Loop works perfectly here. You use very colorful words to give your impression of the bayou. It's a vibrant place that carries its own music. Excellent rhyme, and beautifully done. judi

Thank you for sharing your entry in the Loop Poetry contest. You did a great job of meeting the requirements of the poetic form and including a pleasant rhyme scheme.

The artwork you chose depicts the deep bayou, and the only suggestion I might make is to use the advanced editor and center your poem and use a prettier font and lovely background to compliment the picture.

The loop poem is more than repeating end and beginning words and the challenge is to keep the words flowing and still convey meaning. This is a strong example of a flowing loop poem.

Sugarray77, I enjoyed the thick, swamp-like mood of your atmospheric loop poem about the bayou:

Rounds of voices in cadence songs,
songs sung to a melody old.
Old harmonies on wafted breeze,
breeze carries kept secrets untold.

As well as being in perfect form, your loop poem has vivid, emotional descriptions:

Untold, sweltering vibrancy,
vibrancy green and mossy hued.

This is an exceptional poem about a bayou with its hidden secrets.
