This is a very cute limerick you have penned. You used an amazingly big word in this. I like the last two lines as they sound so familiar to me! lol I enjoyed reading and reviewing it! Blessings, Teri

Thanks very much for the lovely review, Teri. I think all the best people are at least a little cray cray :) Cheers, Craig

As I've said before, I very much enjoy these word poems about words unfamiliar to me, but so much fun to learn. This one is especially interesting, and your poem is clever and witty and the example you used is perfect. Thank you for doing this!

Thanks so much for the lovely comments, MM. I'm having fun learning lots of new words - most of which, sadly, I'm sure to forget. There seems to be a limit to my upstairs storage capacity :) Cheers, Craig

Hi Craig. I enjoyed this. I do like "May the 4th" be with you. I inadvertently used paranomasia today, too. I wrote a poem about guys with droopy pants letting their butt crack show. Not only was he "bare assed." (Sorry) He was em-bare-assed. Marilyn

How fun! Joy Graham told me that you have been writing about words, too so I came to read. I'm also writing about words that I'm learning. I look forward to read more of your word poems. I write a word blurb occasionally.

A very well-written Limerick about the paranomasia of words sounding the same but have different meanings and spelled differently too.

May the fourth be with you also! It is Brooke's grandson, Sawyer's, birthday today. I will always think of him for this day. Tomorrow is my sister's birthday - Cinqo de Mayo. I never associated it with the Mexican celebration until recently. Never heard of it until recently.

(LOL) Happy Stars Wars Day to you too. May the 4th. also be with YOU.
?Huh?
(Hahahaha)
Okay, if you say it is so, I will believe you.
My mouse is expired -
I think it got tired. (lol) Gotta go buy a new one. The touch pad died a while ago.

Seems that Dawn got herself a laptop
For her writing, when she's on the hop
But the touch pad has died
And I cried and I cried
When I heard the poor mouse got the chop
Thanks, Dawn :)

I didn't know that there was a name for that. I'm glad to know "it's okay to be slightly cray cray". I was starting to worry. :) This is a fun poem, Craig. I enjoyed reading it, and learning the word "paranomasia" and its meaning. You have conveyed it so very well to your reader. Great job on this! ~~ Connie

Hi, Craig;
When I first read this word, I believed it was going to reveal some type of phobia. Your explanation works, as well as your poem. The little pun at the end wasn't missed.
The force of the fourth is strong.
Thank you for sharing another new word,
~patty~
